I’m Chad Fugman, the founder of Fugman Bookkeeping & Advisory, and I help small businesses, contractors, and real estate owners gain clarity, confidence, and control over their financial operations. My approach combines real-world business insight with CPA-level technical accuracy—giving clients clean, reliable books they can actually use.

My background spans real estate accounting, private equity fund reporting, audit, and commercial property management, which gives me a uniquely practical understanding of how money moves through a business and what owners truly need from their financial data.

Before starting this venture, I served as a Fund Controller for real estate private equity funds with over $5 billion in total committed capital, where I handled bookkeeping, allocations, financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting structures. I also worked as an Audit Associate at RSM, specializing in real estate and construction audits—reviewing financials across cash, accounts receivable, revenue, investments, fixed assets, and equity accounts with an exceptional level of detail and precision.

Today, I also manage commercial properties in Fresno, giving me hands-on experience with the financial needs of the exact businesses I now serve—contractors, landlords, small service providers, and local entrepreneurs who need accurate, timely books but don’t have time to manage them themselves.

I hold a Master of Accounting, a BBA in Finance with Real Estate and Accounting from TCU (Texas Christian University), and I am licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (#124480), as well as a California Real Estate Salesperson. This combination of education, licensure, and real-world financial experience ensures your books aren’t just maintained—they’re managed with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
